Likes-The hosts were so genuinely nice and made us feel like family. They were always willing to provide whatever we needed and gave excellent recommendations. The room was stylish and functional, with a modern bathroom. The double glazed windows helped insulate against the cold weather. The location was great, with easy access to wine tasting chalets and a short drive to the lakes and Médoc beaches and chateaux.

The owners of this charming B&B were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our room was beautifully decorated with a comfortable bed and a luxurious shower. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with a variety of delicious food including eggs. We felt like part of the family during our stay and even enjoyed a lovely cup of coffee with the owners. We stayed at Le Medoc De Maxou Bed & Breakfast during a 12-day cycle tour of the Gironde. The location was perfect, with easy access to the Lamarque-Blaye ferry and the beautiful Dôme de Lamarque. The recently renovated property was stunning, with a spiral staircase leading to comfortable and clean guest rooms. The garden view from our room was lovely, and the modern bathroom was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Bonus for cyclists: there is a secure garage for storing bikes.

Le Medoc De Maxou in Lamarque was definitely worth every penny. The room was cozy and well-decorated, making me feel right at home. The location in the middle of the Medoc vineyards was perfect for exploring, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Their personal touch, including sitting down for a coffee with me, made me feel like a part of their family.

The only thing that could have made the morning meal even better would be a larger selection of fresh pastries.
